Artificial Grass at Dream Park Playground

Awarded the 2025 Recreation Landscape Project of the Year by the Synthetic Turf Council, the spacious and colorful Ft. Worth Dream Park Playground features 27,500 sq. ft. of SYNLawn artificial glass. Made from Super Yarn technology, the turf delivers resiliency and durability despite the heavy foot traffic on the popular site, which serves as the largest inclusive playground in the city.

“The previous surface was deteriorating bark mulch that drained poorly, created mud on slopes and cut off access for children with mobility limitations,” explains Dant. “The SYNLawn installation is IPEMA-certified, nail-free, fully ADA-compliant, and usable year-round. The drainage problems are resolved and the maintenance burden on the facility dropped substantially.”
