Raising the bar for commercial windscreens,Trex’s Ascent post-supported glass windscreen system is designed to withstand wind loads of 80psf, which is multiple times stronger than typical systems. Suitable for high altitudes with stronger wind loads, the transparent system is well suited for pools, outdoor dining areas and balconies.
At a standard height of 6 ft., Ascent provides effective coverage for furniture and patrons; however, the product’s height is completely customizable to complement any project specifications and setting. Available finishes include Powder Coated, Painted, Kynar and Anodized—all engineered to resist chipping, scratching, fading and wear. Ascent is IBC- and IRC-compliant and tested in accordance with AC439. For each project, the Trex Commercial Products’ team conducts a thorough review of applicable codes and regulations, and provides a fully engineered system that meets project specifications and requirements. Ascent also installs easily with snap-fit aluminum posts where the glass panels install from the front, significantly reducing installation time.
