This is the first classroom door system tested and certified to the groundbreaking ASTM F3561 standard—the most advanced method for evaluating a door system’s resistance to forced entry in an active shooter attack. ASTM F3561 simulates real-world conditions by first weakening the system with ballistic assault before subjecting it to rigorous impact testing. The certification applies only to fully integrated assemblies that include the door, frame, hardware, and glazing.
