LightFair is coming upon us quickly. Returning to the New York’s Javits Center May 21-25, the biennial trade show and conference will feature more than 300 exhibitors on the trade show floor and more than 100 educational sessions by nearly 200 speakers, curated by Brienne Musselman, IES director of education and standards, along with team members from IES and IALD. Other show highlights and events include on-site tours of its four pavilions: Design, Outdoor, Technology, and The Collective; seven immersive lighting installations on the theme of Circular Economy; and a May 23 keynote by Karen Treviño, Natural Sounds and Night Skies Division chief at the National Park Service.

Athena wireless processor, Lutron
This latest addition to Lutron’s Athena lighting control system is sized for small spaces and scalable for use in larger spaces. The ceiling-mounted processor eliminates the need for panels and works with both wired and wireless devices, including Clear Connect types A and X devices, Ketra Type X loads, Pico wireless controls, and Radio Powr Savr daylight and occupancy/vacancy sensors.
