PROTECTION COURSE PC-2 Waterproofing Protection

PROTECTION COURSE PC-2 is a rigid, multi-ply protection board used to shield waterproofing membranes from damage during construction and backfilling. It was used for all terrace waterproofing (wood deck) during the recent renovation at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. Made with a mineral-fortified asphalt core and reinforced outer mats, it is designed to handle normal jobsite foot traffic and absorb the impact of aggregate placed against protected membranes. The board is manufactured to ASTM D6506 and is available in standard-duty (PC-2) and heavy-duty (PC-3) thicknesses to match project demands.
