A century-old steel fabrication plant, comprised of five disparate buildings, was transformed by Jackson Liles Architecture into the new LEED Gold-certified San Francisco Flower Market. The high-performance building envelope was clad in corrugated, custom-colored metal siding. Faux lightboxes provide articulation along the facade, which runs more than 400 ft. in length. A 2,000-kilowatt photovoltaic system was installed on the roof.
