Transparency in stairs is trending right now. When architecture, design, and construction firm The Beck Group relocated its Dallas headquarters, it created a stunning three-story staircase. The design team wanted to make the stairway as transparent as possible, without using glass. The final stair was composed of hot rolled steel plate treads sitting on a pair of steel beams. Carl Stahl stainless steel loop mesh adds texture and serves as the safety barrier.
