While most concrete and clay tile roof systems achieve the highest Class A fire rating, FYRATEK underlayment provides additional fire and ember resistance beneath the tiles, making it the preferred underlayment for tile roofs in very high wildlife-designated regions. The noncombustible foil surface is engineered to reflect heat and block burning embers from igniting the wood deck and the building's structure.
