The new Fireline 940 Fire Blanket is designed to provide two-hour fire protection for expansion joints in seismic zones. The design helps contain the spread of smoke, flames and heat, allowing the system to maintain fire protection performance while accommodating building movement. Available for horizontal and vertical applications, the multilayer fire blanket assembly accommodates maximum joint openings up to 48 inches while allowing for lateral movement. Additionally, pre-attached flanges are designed to simplify installation, while floor and wall configurations provide options for a range of building types.
