LightSPEC West will bring together and empower those involved with solid-state lighting — architects, lighting designers, specifiers, manufacturers and owners — with the information they need. Compelling, luminous exhibits will showcase the latest architectural lighting offerings from leading Southern California agencies and lighting manufacturers at the live event at the Anaheim Convention Center on April 17-18.
Seven weeks before the event, more than 1,000 specifiers, designers, architects, and like-minded professionals from Southern California and around the world have made plans to attend LightSPEC West.
“The exhibits will showcase lighting manufacturers covering all the major aspects of lighting. With Endeavor Business Media’s reach into the lighting and associated markets, we are attracting new and different attendees, not the same attendees you will see at private events or other events in Southern California. We are the only show in Southern California that has a mix of agency participation and non-agency affiliated manufacturers,” said Janice Oliva, vice president and group publisher of the LightSPEC and LEDs Magazine.
In a learning theater adjacent to the exhibit floor, educational sessions and product demonstrations will offer opportunities to gain insights and earn CEUs from AIA. LightSPEC West’s visionary advisory board guided the development of programming themes, including artificial intelligence and its use in the lighting industry, lighting and wellness, energy efficiency and commissioning, and lighting controls for smart spaces. Members include Raymond Barberousse, PGRB; Josh Dean, California Energy Alliance; Bob Karlicek, RPI; Salwa Osman, WSP; and Thomas Paterson, Lux Populi.
“The Editorial Advisory Board for LightSPEC West brings together an incredibly seasoned cohort of some of the most knowledgeable and experienced executives from around the industry,” said Linda Becker, editor-in-chief of LightSPEC.
LightSPEC West is a unique in-person event for anyone involved in the design, production, distribution, specification and application of solid-state lighting products and systems, for indoor and outdoor environments, in commercial, institutional and residential building types. Sponsoring agencies include Light, a 2024 premier lighting agency, and Forman & Associates.
