VacuMax VIG integrates with any traditional (and even non-traditional) glazing system to maximize insulation performance. Vacumax offers R-values of R14+, delivering insulation performance close to those of a traditional wall. Thanks to its slim construction and light weight, VacuMax can be installed in existing facades without needing to replace the original framing system. Use VacuMax VIG on its own as nominal ¼” glass to replace a monolithic (single-pane) glass or as a substitute for the interior lite in any double- or triple-glazed insulating glass unit (IGU), where it forms a second airspace and creates a hybrid IGU for unparalleled thermal performance.
