öko skin is slat wall panels made of glassfibre reinforced concrete. This product offers a solution that is as beautiful as wood, but as tough as concrete. Facades clad with öko skin require minimum maintenance. Unlike wooden claddings, glassfibre reinforced concrete doesn’t require sealing or painting. It is also totally fire-resistant and a safer alternative to traditional wood paneling. Architects of the Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa, CA, applied öko skin at the gable ends of the event center, because the area has a high risk of wildfire.
