2300 Continuous Linear

July 23, 2024

A San Fransisco industrial building constructed in 1906 has been given new life by architectural firm Marcy Wong Donn Logan. Referred to as MacLac Building D, the award-winning design uses ridge skylights to bring abundant daylight into the interior, highlighting historic brick walls and steel roof trusses. The design team also selected the 2300 Continuous Linear wood ceiling to add incredible character in a budget-friendly way.

The 9Wood Continuous Linear style wood ceiling offers an open reveal linear design where the individual wood member is wider than it is deep. The layout is built around a 12-in. modular. Members are installed randomly to create a continuous, random joint appearance.
