Back in Black

Wilsonart’s sophisticated new laminate palette in black and white is the “little black dress” collection of laminate looks. Available through Wilsonart’s Virtual Design Library, the collection speaks to a modern aesthetic, but its abstract patterns transcend trends. From large-scale designs inspired by the unique features found in Eucalyptus wood to abstracts made up of bold, multi-colored triangles, 18 new patterns expand the laminate design vocabulary with monochromatic grays, a whitewashed brick wall pattern and art deco-inspired black and gold combinations.

Laminate Spans Decades and Designs

After touring the newly opened headquarters building of Wilsonart in Temple, Texas, the company allowed a sneak peek of the inspiration behind its newest set of laminates. The company’s in-house design department scours aesthetics from industrial to maker, urban to organic, and everything in between in order to devise its latest textures, color families and finishes.
