Metal Panels for Shape and Shadow

Designers with New York City-based Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture brought together a mix of cladding materials in their plans for The Pablo Center at the Confluence, a new Eau Claire, Wisc., performing arts space. These include local stone, copper sheathing and almost 29,000 sq. ft. of Insul-Rib insulated metal panels. The panels’ 1.5-in.-high ribs on 7.2-in. centers attracted the designers for the depth they add to the building’s exterior.

Beauty That Goes all the Way Through

CF Mesa and CF Light Mesa insulated metal panels can be used as a monolithic wall assembly, with steel exterior and interior finished wall surfaces that sandwich a foamed-in-place polyurethane core. Peninsula Architects of Peninsula, Ohio, opted for the panels in its plans for food distributor Sima & Sons Produce, where they function as both exterior walls as well as interior walls for the company’s coolers. The walls are also exposed in some areas of the facility’s offices.

Video Boards Add Bling to Wrigley Field

New video boards behind both the left and right field bleachers improve the views for fans at this historic ballpark. Wrigley Field, home to the Chicago Cubs, is undergoing a multi-phase, $575 million restoration and modernization program dubbed the 1060 Project. The project includes enclosures for the new video boards behind the bleachers in left and right field.
