Metal Panels for Shape and Shadow

March 22, 2019

Designers with New York City-based Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture brought together a mix of cladding materials in their plans for The Pablo Center at the Confluence, a new Eau Claire, Wisc., performing arts space. These include local stone, copper sheathing and almost 29,000 sq. ft. of Insul-Rib insulated metal panels. The panels’ 1.5-in.-high ribs on 7.2-in. centers attracted the designers for the depth they add to the building’s exterior.
