Acustica Pendants

Aug. 19, 2024

Seen here in HOK’s new Miami office, the cymbal-inspired design of these colored lampshades improves acoustics in the space. The pendant absorbs sound waves with an outer shell made from recycled PET. The structure is anodized black aluminum with an opal PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) diffuser. Acustica pendants’ shades can adjust from level to inclined positions for dynamic and creative arrangements around its central fixed light source.
