Seattle-Tacoma International Airport installed Park Assist’s Parking Guidance System

Park and Fly

At one of the world’s largest single-structure garages with 12,100 parking stalls, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport recently installed Park Assist’s Parking Guidance System to monitor occupancy and provide guidance throughout the enormous garage. Park Assist’s M4 smart-sensor system enhances the parking experience by indicating which specific spaces are available, occupied or premium using color-coded LED lights. The smart system streamlines parking and reduces congestion. Additionally, Park Assist’s Park Finder software module helps users quickly pinpoint their car upon returning to the garage.

Post PSAs and Updates Instantly

Soofa provides cities with a tool that, in times of emergency, allows for both flexible and instantaneous messages. It is working with government partners to design specific COVID-19 PSA templates, which can be easily adapted to post new updates regarding school closures, canceled events, transportation disruptions, relief fund options, and general public health guidelines. For example, the town of Brookline, Mass., uses Soofa Signs to post specific updates about school and playground closures, while the city of Somerville, Mass., is redirecting people to their official webpage for more detailed information.

Sleek Column

Offering a slender simplicity and a striking accent to contemporary architecture and open spaces, PORTAL features an anodized aluminum bezel surrounding the aperture creates a jewel-like highlight, while a concealed mounting structure with a flangeless base delivers a graceful transition to grade.

Subtle Prompt

A great exit sign solution for outdoor or indoor applications where wall or ceiling mounted options are not possible or desired, the Portal Exit bollard is made from extruded aluminum with a wall thickness of just 0.187 inches. Available with green or red lettering, the sign is ideal for courtyards, atria, arboretums, roof-top gardens and outdoor swimming pool decks. Refined styling details include a beveled machined aluminum top, minimized visible hardware and flangeless mounting.

Modular Bulletin Board

Takeform developed Applaud to connect to space and brand in three ways. Backer sizes and materials are specified to fit the project. The plaque system is designed to include the appropriate range of sizes and the desired finishes. The design comes together with one of three plaque-mounting systems: button mounting, the rod system or the simplicity of magnets. The platform can utilize almost any interior finish and offers direct print technology for added expression. This creative potential is brought together in an efficient approach and a user-friendly process of design through installation. It received a 2017 GOOD DESIGN Award.
